A little rough right now. Tourists arent targets, but the protesting is kinda getting out of hand. Burning and stoning busses…its a little on the scary side. stay out of the capital city and head down to the beach or head over the San Cristobal delas Casas.

and it was a rather great place. Small town, kind people, good history and the ferry can take you quickly to other amazingly beautiful islands nearby. The San Juan Islands are gorgeous.

Because this state is not big enough for two egos. Texans are attached by some magical thread to their state. I’m still trying to figure out what this thread is made of becuz the redeeming characteristics are hard to find. oh yeh austin…thats a good spot.

after the hurricane seasons. Many a childhood memory took place at Gulf Shores.

Nova and DC…Good place for young people. Jobs are competitive, but the atmosphere is fun and exciting.

South Louisiana has the most loyal, fun-loving, friendly, marvelous people the world has ever seen. I gotta get back there.

If you are going to be in the South for a while. Hyderabad (Cyberbad) is becoming more happening, but Warangal and some weekend trips are more worth it. The Birla Munir in Secunderabad is really pretty, the Buddha statue in the middle of Hussain Sagar is pretty, and try to get out of the city and see the rural areas. Didnt make it to Coastal Andhra, but I hear Vizag isnt bad.

Try and see some low key places. Mahibalipuram (sp?) was my favorite by far…shore temple and really great people.
