City of Falls Church, Virginia

Untitled

Falls Church, VA is a beautiful city. I grew up in South Boston, VA and Falls Church reminded me of home.

I love the quiet and the simple way things are done in this city. The people are friendly and I found it easy to get around.

I enjoyed a stay at the Inn of Virginia. The hotel room was clean, quiet and stylish. I had a restful sleep and would recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area.

I enjoyed a great meal at the Old Country Grill. The food was excellent and the staff made me feel right home.

Washington, D.C., District of Columbia

Untitled

Last week I visited Washington, D.C. for the first time. I arrived by train and enjoyed a quick day trip of the surrounding area. I love the Metro! It is clear, quiet and not as hectic as the New York City Transit Trains.

I love the look of the train stations and that you can get cell phone coverage in the waiting areas.

I had a wonderful time in Washington and met some really great people during my stay. I will visit Washington again.

Florida, United States

Untitled

My trip to Florida was at a point in my life where I was experiencing a lot of firsts. It was the first time seeing my father’s new life in Florida, it was my first time on a plane, my first trip alone and my first trip outside of the areas I have traveled to growing up.

A lot has happened in my life before and since this trip. Taking a solo journey alone strengthens the spirit and makes you trust yourself more.

I like Florida. I love the open sky and the warm of the sun on my skin. My trip was pretty busy so I plan to take another trip where I plan be a tourist and see and do the things I want to do.

I recommend going to Florida at least once in your life. As a city girl who grew up in the country it was like being home.
