Tour Eiffel

Worth visiting!

Enchanting...

especially at night! I didn’t know that it twinkles (the first 5 minutes of every hour strobe lights go off, so it literally twinkles) and the sight of it took my breath away.

It is also the background of my all-time favorite picture, which my boyfriend took himself with arm outstretched the day he arrived in Paris!

Barcelona and Granada...

were my favorite places! However, I did not get north to Madrid. My recommendation is to skip those infamous party islands- we visited Mallorca, stayed just outside of Las Palmas, and it wasn’t much of a place. Sure, there’s a happening nightlife, but that’s true for all of Spain! Mostly filled with an older German crowd, to tell the truth.

Granada should definitely be on everyone’s itinerary- the Alhambra is unbelievable, and worth at least a full day of your time.

Paris

Worth visiting!

Paris was...

unbelievable. I have only spent a measley 8 days in this beautiful city, but am planning a return trip this fall. My boyfriend’s brother is living just outside of the city, so I’ll have an excuse to visit many, many times!

Venezia

(in Italy > Veneto)

Worth visiting!

I spent four months...

living 40 km outside of Venice in a small town called ‘Paderno del Grappa’. Last year, I was in Venezia for CARNEVALE, and I wish I could have been there this year, too. Everyone should visit this city at least once in their lives. It truly is a magical place. Oh, how I miss being able to dash into Venice for the afternoon!

I'm in love...

with this country! I had the pleasure of living in ‘il Veneto’ region for four short months, and spent several weeks travelling the rest of the country. ‘Twas an amazing experience- I can’t wait to go back! Hopefully I’ll be able to move there permanently in three years. Until then, you can find me daydreaming about tiramisu, limoncello, antipasti, and those Dolomites….
