Weaver D's

Worth visiting!

I loved this place

I used to go here all the time when I was at UGA (many, many moons ago). It’s probably the only place you can still get breakfast for 3$. Great place to visit on Saturday morning after a long night at the bars.

Amsterdam

Worth visiting!

A tip I have about this place

Stay near the Leidseplein or Rembrantplein. Everything is within walking distance of these squares and and they are much cleaner than Damarak. Everyone must vistit the Rijksmuseum. Plan on spending most of a day there.

Georgia Aquarium

Worth visiting!

The first time I went to this place

Absolutely amazing. I’ve been to several aquariums, but this was by far the best. Try to go during the week if you can. I went in Dec. and it took about 45 mins. to get in.

Mumbai

Why I want to go to this place

I have always been fascinated with India, the people, and the culture. I have worked with numerous people from various parts of India and their stories just captivated me, particularly those about Mumbai. The stark socio-economic contrasts in the castes and huge emphasis placed on the extended family. My company out sources some of our programming to India and I thought about trying to get my boss to send me there on the pretense of helping to set up our new development environment. I doubt he’ll buy it, but it’s worth a shot.

Yellowstone National Park

Why I want to go to this place

I went to Yellowstone three time when I was very young. I always remember the geysers, the lakes, and most of all, the sprawling pine forests. I backpacked through Yellowstone (when I was but six, mind you), but it made a deep impression on me. I saw my first black bear there and I always witnessed an avalanche, something I will never forget. It’s a national treasure that so few people ever get a chance to see.
