I went to Mostar on a day visit when I was holidaying in Croatia. It was sad to see all the damage that the war had done band it made me feel really lucky to live in Britain. The small market streets were an experience. One of the highlights for me was seeing two boys jumping into the river from a very tall bridge!! I’m really glad I was able to see a little bit a Bosnia.

I went to Croatia last October and it was beautiful. I stayed in a little down called Cavtat, just down the coast from Dubrovnik. Spent most of the time shopping in Dubrovnik as it was sooo cheap! The buildings are beautiful and the pavements in the old town are amazing as they have been polished by hundreds of years of people walking on them!! Stunning!!! I thoroughly recommend buying an ince cream from the little stall at the top of the main street and just to the left, in front of the fountain. Delicious.
