It’s a great place to relax… a good walk between places and sightseeing.

More than worth the trip for the often beautiful scenery. The hot desert weather is actually bearable, even at 118 degrees, this from a northerner. Places worth visiting in the Phoenix-Scottsdale area: Scottsdale Fashion Center, Taliesin West(in the evening), and although its a bit of a drive, Sedona is well worth it for those with eyes. Favorite food of all time: Chicken Marsala from the Scottsdale Chart House. Second favorite food of all time: Muffins from Mimi’s Cafe. Best Landmark: ‘The Waterfront’ luxury hi-rises, a stone’s throw from the Fashion Center. It’s ironic, but there is water.
