Beautiful, but crowded on a sunny day. There are even more spectacular cliffs along the Antrim Coast in Northern Ireland, which a much sparser crowd.

I cried when I first saw it. Seriously, it’s that amazing.

For Christmas and New Year’s Eve, even! I booked my plane ticket and a tour with Rick Steves about a month ago, and I’m getting more and more excited. Trying to brush up on my high school French, and reading Chocolate & Zucchini religiously for tips on where to dine. Can’t Wait!

Beautiful little town, fantastic beaches, an excellent orchestra and the Sylvia Beech Hotel. What’s not to love?

My family used to go when I was a kid – it was good kitchy fun, what with the miniature golf courses and museums and tacky tacky gift shops. Not classy, by any means, but if you bring your sense of humor you’ll have a good time.
