I lived in the apartments – they’re… “cozy”. Best way to go if you only want 1 roommate. Love the bus services (who can afford a parking pass anymore!?).

Do they still have Hollywood Horror Nights during Halloween? If so – GO. They’re so fun!

If you live in the midwest and can’t get down to Florida on Spring Break – this cave is the place to be – its consistently 58(?) degrees, which is much warmer than Michigan in March!!!

When I tell people I’m from Petoskey, they say “Wow you’re so lucky to be from such a beautiful area!” True, it’s scenic and caters to tourists. Not much going on for teens / 20-somethings, though, other than enjoying nature.

I grew up not far from here, and went every summer. If you’re coming from the Lower Peninsula, catch a ferry from St. Ignance so that you get to cross the bridge first! If you’re coming from the UP, catch a ferry from Mackinaw City.

I only ate ‘American’ food before I came here. It was so good that it inspired me to try (and love!) Thai, Chinese, and Cajun food!
