I still haven’t written a proper travel entry- I do have all of the names of the places that I went, just haven’t written the details yet. Do check out the pictures for now though, I did write captions next to some of the more memorable restaurants-

I’ve lived here on and off my whole life, the last time I was living in Georgetown (M and Thomas Jefferson). DC is awesome! It’s a city but still a small town, as in it’s not too overwelming. There’s so much more than just the museums and monuments. Great restaurants, shopping, and nightlife. Go!

I just got an email from my friend (actually ex-boyfriend) and he invited me to go Sept. 23rd-Oct.3rd!!!!!!!!! I really hope it works out! I just stopped running around the house screaming for joy. WHEE-HOO!!

And people say I’m crazy for being friends with my exs’!

I look back on the pictures and the mtns. don’t even look real. Small village in the Mont-Blanc Valley, EXCELLENT skiing. It was great b/c my 2 friends and I were the only Americans we ran across while we were there (nothing against Americans!). Very European.

My friend and I were idiots though, thought we were big time skiers and went up without a map, thought we’d go down the “road less travelled”... There was a reason it was less travelled. It was THE HARDEST slope I’ve ever been on. We made it down to the lift alive (we slid the whole way), and the lift operator thought it was the funniest thing in the world. Serves us right… By that point we decided we needed a pick me up so we went back to the lodge and had some wine. Ski.Eat.Drink.Sleep. Nice.

It’s a great place though- the inns are cheap(at least ours), the food is hearty French country food, and everyone was exceptionally nice. GO!

Ok, I’m sure this place is Insanely Expensive, but it doesn’t hurt to wish! All of the One and Only Resorts look amazing.

Now this would be a trip where I wouldn’t want to be there by myself, a boyfriend would be nice!

I only went for a day though, definitely want to go back!!!

for a friend of mine, Singapore probably wouldn’t be one of the 1st places that I would think of to visit. He’s a nice guy (from Sri Lanka actually), he’s lived there for 3 years for work and he loves it. The great thing is that he has lots of spare room for me if I come over and he could show me around. He came to NY to hang out w/me so I feel like it’s my turn to visit him. Also I know there are lots of fun day/weekend trips we could take.

I’m definitely getting a lot more interested in that part of the world.

J’adore Paris… I really want to live there. I’ve never understood why so many Amercians complain about the French, I’ve always found them wonderful. I’ve been 5 times, twice with family when I was younger and then the past few years by myself. What was AWESOME was that my best friend was living there so I always had someplace to stay. AND I would research e-savers, I think the lowest I’ve flown over for has been $190 ROUND TRIP. You can’t beat that!

I’m going back over July 22nd, if I can get my act together with my passport!! I’m excited to be over in the summer, usually before I’ve gone over when it’s winter.

there’s a hotel in particular I’d like to stay at but I can’t remember the name…

I’d like to know the deal with the diving too.
