The city has a nice center portion with the roundabout with the statue however I found the city to be a little strange. The afican american community lives in the poor area and the crime is bad. The city is like a huge midwestern suburb and there is no art scence or unique culture other the the Indy 500 and the Hoosiers. If you like sports this may be a place for you.

I was there in 2002 before the Hurricane. I stayed on Magazine Street in the Garden District (one of the few safe nice areas of town). I was impressed with the art and culture of the city. The city is also very condensed and easy to walk or ride a trolley. I thought the city had a ton of personality and great music, food and hospitality.

This city was built for only cars, i could not even cross the street! The downtown is like a business park with no night life built around it. I could not understand this city, it is a huge sprawl being from Chicago this city made no sense to me.

This ancient site really makes you wonder. It seems like a marvel even by today’s tech. I think maybe they had help from little green men lolz.

Great, Very Attractive Town. This is a very walkable city and has many sites that are unique to the midwest.

Fun City, Very Friendly People, A lot of partying going on. A nice riverfront area with bars and restaraunts called “the landing” I would recommend going their. St. Louis maybe be a bit dirty but it has a lot of history.
