Ohhh! Sweet, precious, priceless Cape May! A family tradition for nearly 70 years on my Momma’s side of the family. It is located in the Bible Belt below Atlantic City. We go every August as a family and it’s the sweetest place on God’s green planet! I am incredibly thankful for this little piece of heaven on earth! It’s quaint and Victorian, yet filled with shops old and new, and sporty outlets of all types, with good eats ever abounding! The lighthouse, walking tours, carriage rides, gingerbread houses, beaches, boardwalks, sights, bird-watching, ferry boats, sunsets, etc. just make life worth living! And every year worth looking forward to, too! On a scale of one to ten (ten being THE BEST!) I’d have to give it a 108! I kid you not! Once you go, you will visit again and again, drawn by it’s special lure.

Well, I was born there 44 years ago, for starters. Also, it’s where I was taken via airplane for my 40th birthday by a man who turned out to be a turd, or is that a toad? Tried to lure me away from my husband and it almost worked. I’m so regretful of my daliance with him. Nearly ruined my life. Nearly destroyed my family—just as he did his when he abandoned his wife and three kids. Seriously, I humbly thank God daily that He reconcilled me back together with my true love, my kind and loving husband. A truly forgiving man. A man I do not deserve, but whom I shall try to prove my love to for the rest of my days. He still says, “Hello, Beautiful! Hooray for Hollywood!” playfully to me. How lucky can a girl be? ;-) I LOVE YOU, BABY!!
