The Fargonian has closed.

I was blown away by the gothic artwork. The illustrated lives of the saints were amazing—well executed, gory, appealing. Like early graphic novels.

The Hay family is going to Spain and I’m so excited.

The last time I went to Linda’s, a gay man in a giant pink bunny suit sold me an egg that had a coupon for a free haircut. I went to get the free haircut (at the now defunt “Hair Corral”), and it was actually possible to get your hair cut while sitting in a saddle.

Jan Kritzer and her lovely daughters introduced Alex and I to Serafina. I believe we all went there right after we told them we were engaged, so there was much cooing and smiling. The atmosphere was just right and the food was excellent.

I accompanied Alex to the IMDB dinner at Volterra this past wednesday. Mmmmm… tasty.

This reserve has amazing bird watching and it’s right in downtown Buenos Aires. We saw large Monk Parakeet twig nests, Jacanas, and 20 other types of birds in our brief 1.5 hour visit.

This is a big old estancia where they serve a big asado dinner, demonstrate gaucho riding, and have traditional folkdance shows.
