Surprisingly a great collection of modern art in the Vatican museum.

Spent ten days in Barcelona and loved it! The people were very friendly and there was so much to do! Recommend that you spend more time exploring all the small streets off of La Rambla and avoid all the craziness that is sometimes associated with this area. It is cool though to walk up and down and see all the street performers and stuff. But it can be pricey…check out the quieter parts of town, like Barceloneta and the area around Park Guell. We bought a 10 day metro pass which was extremely useful as it works on buses, the metro and the funiculars up to Montjuic (which is also a must-see).

I am going to Spain (the eastern coast) next week and I am looking forward to getting to know a new culture that I really don’t know a lot about. I will definitely hit Barcelona, but not sure where else after that- should be fun!

I was only hear for one day but it was a beautiful day in late spring. The sky was clear, the people were friendly, and the ice cream was plentiful. The only thing was there were some many tourists! I guess you can expect that at this time of year. But everyone seemed to be enjoying themselves so that’s good!

I went only for the weekend in Helsinki, but it was great! I loved the atmosphere of the city and the fact that not far from the center you can be at the sea or surrounded by forests. A pretty modern place, clean, and safe!

Great city to walk around in, nice signs marking everything and always a place to stop in for coffee or a beer!

Millions and millions of books…need i say more?

...all the natural beauty and the indigenous culture.

I have been to a couple big cities in Europe and even in America, but I still haven’t seen New York.

I read The Wrecker by Robert Louis Stevenson and that book made me want to visit. Plus I love the idea of seeing a place where cannibals once feasted…is that gross? Well, creepy anyway.
