Went to Berkeley for the day last June, and my friend’s car broke down as soon as we got there. Long story short, we wandered around downtown for hours and ended up staying the night in UCB’s Jewish frat house (A E Pi) and putting away some bombass donuts at 1 in the morning. Great town!

Aegis Gallery is my favorite place in this town. There’s a beautiful little creek behind it, I took off my shoes and walked upstream through the water after a gallery show.

my grandmother lived in the SC Mountains, in the town of Ben Lomond about 8 miles inland of Santa Cruz. It was the most soothing and healing place I have ever been… the land is so expensive, but there’s nowhere better to live if you want to be surrounded by peace and beauty.

not to mention i was able to buy absinthe here when i was 16…

i was here for two nights last june, one of which was devoted to a huge festival held on the streets of the whole city. there was music, food, beer, and everything else you could possibly want. also, the chocolate is everything people say it is, and more. the picasso museum is small but fantastic, and the street performers were amazing! and lake lucerne is not that cold in the summer, we swam comfortably (if not legally?)
