My thoughts on Jakarta
The people here are wonderful though not many of them can speak English.
I enjoy the food here very much. Staying in Jalan Jaksa, so-called tourist street in Jakarta, is an awesome experience w on-going activities all day.
The traffic can be terrible during peak hours, many-hour jam is common i guess. Try to use public bus, the busway in Jakarta is special i think.
