unless you have relatives here or go to school at OSU, don’t bother… it’s far from I-5 and very small and quiet. I didn’t see a whole lot of character, either. But to each his own.

There are 3 lakes within 10 minutes of my house… maybe more that I haven’t found yet!

Great restaurants (believe it or not) and less populated… forest and sea together

This city just has a certain magical feeling to it.

It’s great fun hiking up a river!

The air here is magical, coming from the west coast, the dryness is very soothing and unique. I love the plant life, architecture and big sky. Visit Taliesin West and Arcosanti.

Like an oasis… the Pink Palace in Corfu came at a time during my long European trip when I needed a vacation within my vacation. Cheap rates, private rooms, lots of alcohol and beaches. I rented a scooter and explored the island… awesome!

The landscape is amazing! Stay with local people for great hospitality and low room rates.
