It’s an interesting city… lots to see. I went at Christmas time, which I highly recommend, just bring warm clothing. I had a local guiding me around everywhere… that’s the way to go.

I just found Nice to be lacking in character. It was boring and the only thing I really wanted to do there, go in the water, I couldn’t do… jellyfish!

Went to Roslyn, Washington, actually… just an hour or two away from my house… but it’s the place they filmed No.Ex. Pretty fun.

I was still there a week ago today. At the Centrum Writer’s Conference. The town is very nice, walkable, and I always love being near the water. I stayed at the Palace Hotel. A former brothel. I definitely suggest a visit if you have a day or two!

The town isn’t wonderful, small and wal-marty, but the hills and canyons are gorgeous. Snow Canyon and the red rocks. The thunderstorms that come through in the summer… the smell of sage after the rain… ahhh….

I moved to Seattle… I miss my powell’s.
I can’t find a bookstore to compare up here.
I’ve been ruined.

It’s just your average town. Nothing to go out of your way to see.

I now have someone living in Japan I can stay with, at least part of the time. She’s with the military, my partner’s Aunt. Can’t waaaaiiiittt… Now I just have to save up.
