Chicago, Cook County

This place is awesome!

I spent just one week in Chicago, but I went out everyday – walking around the city for hours and hours and hours. Yeah there was that time I got totally lost and freaked out and walked from Chinatown to the art institute, but there was also that time I spent hours taking pictures of kids playing at the huge water fountains with chicago native’s faces, eating gelato and chillin. Or that one time I sat on the bus just talking to this woman and her 20 million kids about what the city was like and just what she really thought of that bean thing and how the city’s changed over the years.

There’s a really great vibe to the city where everything feels not necissarily new, but like it’s got so much potential that you could do anything. You can look in nearly direction and see 1. cool buildings, 2. cool people, or 3. cool shops, if not all three. The hip-hop there is so incredibly fantastic, and the people just have this unpretentious, but totally arty air about them. I’d love to live here someday.

Twilight Zone Tower Of Terror, Disney's Hollywood Studios

Once...

I came to this completely unprepared and in a cowgirl looking shirt with elastic on the low-cut collar. That’s right folks; I flashed everyone when the elevator dropped… And there was a picture.

San Francisco, San Francisco Peninsula

Untitled

This is my first time in San Francisco and I love it! The weather is absolutely wonderful and the city landscape is just so cool. The cynical east coast kid of an ex-hippy I had my doubts about the place, but it’s got lots of culture, nice people, and a cool artsy vibe to it – it’s a pain in the ass to get here for me, but I really like it here and definitely hope to come back soon.
