My great-great-great (I don’t know how many greats) grandmother was really an Italian Duchess… My family even owned a castle in Italy, and if way back when they hadn’t have married the Irish, I would have actually been an heiress to the castle, and the position of Duchess. I want to find the castle that we owned (I know it’s name, don’t know where it’s at) and visit it, and try to imagine my ancestors walking around the castle, basking in the glory of their positions…I think it would be very interesting and moving.
