In 1972 I was an exchange student and spent the summer in Japan.

The All American Quarter Horse Congress is the World’s Largest Single-Breed Horse Show. The show receives:

• more than 16,000 horse show entries
• houses than 8,500 registered American Quarter Horses over 3 weeks
• attracts more than 650,000 people to the Columbus area
• brings more than $110 million to the central Ohio economy

I studied here in the Summer of 1974 with a group of students from Indiana State University.

My daughter was born here in 1984.

On October 27, 2006, I was one of two finalists for Round 11 of AOL’s Gold Rush. I competed for $100,000, live, on the CBS Early Show. The competition was held outdoors on the plaza right next to the Apple Store. I won the competition, and came home with $100,000!

On October 23, 2006, I flew to Minneapolis to compete in the Round 11 finals of AOL’s Gold Rush trivia contest. I survived the elimination round here, and continued on to New York City to compete for $100,000.
