Why I recommend this place to visitors
Anyone remotely interested in history should really visit Berlin.. The city is very rich in history, especially from the 20th century. Feel the communistic era in east Berlin at places such as the Stasi musuem, read about the brave students of Die Weise Rose at Gedänkstätte Deutscher Wiederstand, learn about the cold war at Checkpoint Charlie, and witness the cold horror of a concentration camp at Sachsenhausen.. Get a feel of the new Germany and Berlin rising by looking at the many construction sites from an S-Bahn train, or by visiting the grande new Berlin Hauptbahnhof.
