I know further north places like Swakopmund are really amazing, but Windhoek itself is nothing to write home about.

There are 2 places definitely worth visiting in Windhoek, namely Joes Beerhouse and the newly opened Iitumba. They are spectacular!

One of those cities you have to visit. I would never want to live there, but none the less a great holiday destination.
