I attended a Bon Jovi concert at Giant’s Stadium on July 29/06. I had a great time, the show was awsome!

We had such a great trip to NYC. We attended a Bon Jovi concert at Giants Stadium. I had a great view of the stage from my fourth row, centre stage-right spot. My favorite song, In These Arms was played. It was the best live performance of this song I have heard yet. We saw Beauty and the Beast on Broadway. It was so incredible, the costumes, stage props, the singing…outstanding! We visited Times Square both during the day and at night where I picked up a print of JBJ and the kids had a street vendor sketch their picture. We walked 5th Avenue and rode the ferris wheel at Toys R Us. Took a 5 hour bus tour of Manhatten (NY Party Shuttle) which included a ride on the Staten Island Ferry to view the Statue of Liberty and a stop in the financial district to visit Ground Zero. I would not recommend this bus tour in the summer as the bus was not air conditioned. Other than the 100+ degree heat that the city was experiencing, we had a totally amazing trip. I can’t wait to go back again one day!!

Okay, this is my dream vacation. Sometimes I desire to live in Hawaii, sigh… Mainly because of the stories I have heard about the weather being so pleasant year-round there. Where I live in Nova Scotia there are very few months of warm, non-coat wearing weather. I need to do some research on Hawaii.
