Itchy

I’ve been there 2 years ago. Good beach for surfing. Shame though the city’s sewer installation kinda exploded while I was there, rendering the sea a forbidden zone for several years. The girls at the tourist office suddenly didn’t understand any English anymore when I asked questions about that.
Apart from the beach I didn’t find the town very interesting.

Been there three times. Recommended!

Whoa! This was the coffeeshop I went to when coffeeshops were still underground in the Netherlands. Litterally underground, in this case, located in a cellar on the edge of a canal. Seventies black light posters on the wall and a terrarium with big snakes near the entrance. Trying to place my order like I knew what it was al about at the age of 16. Then off to the nearby Tivoli for a concert of The Fall. Ah well…
