I went here on a family vacation when I was 12. From what I remember it was kind of boring, nothing to really do of major interest, and it was like 107 degrees in the shade. My view on it may change if I were to go back now as an adult but this is just what I remember.

So NOT WORTH VISITING. Go to the ZOO in Washington DC instead. Seriously, I’ve been to the Baltimore Zoo 3 times and everytime it was dirty, crowded, There were like 5 animals out, and it was over priced. Not worth my time, money or patience. Just so not worth it. I can’t stress enough how awful the place was. I’ll never go back. That part of Baltimore is kinda scary anyway so be careful if you do go.

DC is great. However, if you want to see/do everything I would make it a weekend trip. The traffic can be a pain, but I reccomend parking and taking the metro in if you can get away with it. Parking is hard to find. If you go to the zoo, especially with kids…make sure you take lots of sunblock in the summer months and bottled water because food & drink in the zoo is expensive, and be prepared to walk – alot – uphill too. The museums are great, as well as chinatown, and arlington national cemetary. You can really learn alot there.

If you’re driving through, great…If you go for vacation or something…have fun staring at your hotel room walls, because there’s nothing to do. Dover Downs isn’t too bad….If you don’t mind crowds.

Went there with family for the day…The park was deserted, most of the rides were shut down…It just was pretty small in my opinion. Just not worth it at all.

It’s ok for a day trip, but I wouldn’t bother going on vacation…it’s pretty blah.

I’ve been here a million times, you’ve seen it once and that’s all you’ll ever need to see it. Seriously….nothing to do…the bars and clubs are lame…and the traffic is a pain in the ass…did I mention there’s really nothing to do? I had more fun here when I was 15 at the under 21 club.

Don’t waste your money, go do something else more exciting. There aren’t alot of rides for children …when we went most of them were not even running. A few rides for adults the 2 newest coasters are the only things worth riding and the place is packed not to mention you pay an arm and a leg for food, drinks and souveniers….

I only live about 30 mins outside of Gettysburg, so I’ve been there many times. It’s a great little town full of history and things to do…I don’t really recommend going in July unless you are a hard core civil war buff….because it’s usually hot and humid and packed full of tourists…the traffic is ridiculious…and the speed limits do not apply…which makes walking through town almost a danger especially if you have small children. However, If you go more on the off season…it’s a beautiful place to visit, there are tons of shops, resturants, museums and other things but keep an eye out for tourist traps such as the ghost walks, there’s tons of them ranging from $6 -$10 and they are all the same…also if you plan on going to the battlefields after dark keep in mind that there are snakes and other creatures all around not to mention the park rangers…the parks are open until 10pm. Until hunting season then they close at dusk.

I have been here many times, Some places are worth seeing, Little Italy and the Inner Harbor are alright but you really have to watch which part of the city you linger in for long…I recommend taking someone with you and not staying it seedy parts after dark!
