How could you not mention the sweet potato fries with chipotle mayo?? They’re amazing. Wish we had a White Spot :(

I work on a cruise ship, and when I heard my next contract was to Alaska instead of somewhere tropical, I was really bummed. But I really loved it! We went to Juneau, Skagway, Ketchikan, and Whittier and cruised Glacier Bay National Park and College Fjord. It was really beautiful. It’s something I never would have experienced otherwise, and I’m so glad I had the opportunity.

I spent a lot of time in Nassau when I worked on a cruise ship that went there twice a week. It’s kind of a tourist trap but has gorgeous beaches and really great restaurants. Paradise Island is really nice. I think it’s one of the less expensive Caribbean destinations, good for a quick getaway. (Stick to the main strip in Nassau…a couple of friends and I wandered away and ended up in the ghetto where even residents were worried for our safety!)

I was there five years ago and have dreamed of going back ever since. There are so many things I still want to experience and lots I want to do again!
