My Alaskan Cruise
So i went on a cruise to Alaska with my grandmother in 1998 when i was 10. I had an absolute blast, it was everything i’d hoped it be. The people there were great and the tourists parts that i went to anyway were stereotypically alaskan. I got to “Dig for Gold” (it was cool then, not so cool thinking back on it), went Whale watching, and took a tour though the famous something or other glaciers. I was terrified and in my room most of the time during the glacier part because i’d just seen the movie Titanic before going on the cruise and thought for sure that we’d hit an iceberg and sink. Somehow i felt safer in the room. The ship itself was awesome, we played bingo, went dancing and did tai-chi every morning. There was an all you can eat buffet style meal any night that you wanted it or a fancy candle-lit dinner if you were in the mood. It was a long time ago that i went but from what i remember it was amazing and i would definetly recommend going to anyone who asks.
