Just starting to recover from our three day trip to Vegas over Halloween weekend. Stayed at the Luxor, saw Howie Mandel MGM, ate at the Luxor and Aladdin buffets, drank a 2 foot daquiri from a plastic eiffel tower, saw Jason Mraz Hard Rock Hotel, shopped, walked, and had too much fun. Totally worth it!

Finally got plane tickets and hotel reservations last week-we’re flying in at 1pm next Thursday and leaving at 6:30 AM!! on Sunday morning. Staying at the Luxor-I’m so excited!

In my opinion, the best ride at California Adventure is ‘Soaring Over California.’ The roller coasters and boardwalk type rides can be fun, but if you want an experience that you will remember for a long time, hit ‘Soaring’!!

We have annual passes to Disneyland/California Adventure, so we go quite often. I prefer to spend more of my time at Disneyland, but if we go over to the California side, we’ll usually take in a few rides in the late afternoon when Disneyland is the most crowded. A fun place to go, but with less ‘Disney Magic’ than Disneyland.

I found it highly amusing that most people rushed through halls and halls of fabulous art without a glance in order to snap a photo of the Mona Lisa.

It was a beautiful place-and as much as I enjoyed seeing everything, the best part of the experience was sitting down with a friend to enjoy an orangina while we watched all the people bustle through the lobby.

Hopefully we’ll go to Ixtapa or Puerto Vallarta this February. I can’t wait to visit Mexico!

if I went to London. I would bring my pea coat and wear my dumbledores and soak it in. I want to be British, but the best I can do is visit!

Planning a trip for the last weekend in October.
We’ll stay at the Luxor, New York, or Caesars.
I’ve driven through Las Vegas and eaten at the buffets, but I’ve never ‘gone’ to Vegas.

I can’t wait to spend all my money on overpriced hotel rooms, buffet food, and watered down alcohol! Woo-pah!
