I want to go to My Happy Place. Its where I feel safe, and secure and relaxed. Its where my panic attacks do not happen. It is where everybody is smiling at me, and making an effort. Its where strangers say hello. Its where I am proud of being who I am. Its heaven.

Lots of memories of Minnie Mouse at Disney Land, breakfast buffets at the hotel and torrential rain. My first, and only, full family holiday.

I came here on my own when i was 17 to take part in a life-changing course called Transformational Leadership, at a beautiful villa in Lucca. I now volunteer for the charity, to promote it. My life has not been the same since. You discover who you really are.

The Royal Mile is amazing during the Fringe. Absolutely love it. So many shows to choose from, but it can all get a bit pricey! There are some amazing acts, but watch out for some of the not-so-good student productions.

Cute little beach. Great for skimming stones.

I spent my 21st birthday here and it was wonderful. I was there with my best friends and we had dinner at the Hotel de Paris. It was wonderful.

The architecture in Genova is brilliant; lots of funky facades too. However, as a vegetarian, it had next to NO vegetarian food!!!It was difficult to find restaurants at all, actually!

Very rustic, and a little hilly. Worth an afternoon there perhaps but there is not that much to do!

I absolutely LOVE this place – it is paradise on earth as far as I am concerned! I went with 6 of my bestest friends and we had an amazing time. The people were friendly and there were lots of nice restaurants.

Portofino is rustic but charming, glittering waters and chalky cliffs…absolutely gorgeous.

Beautiful, and great if you have friends studying there as you can explore inside the colleges! If you are visiting a friend, make sure you get booked into a ‘formal’ – they are AMAZING!

Its pretty small, so give it a full day, and then thats it!

Its great to catch a basketball game here, and join in on all the crowd chants! Brilliant, so unlike the football chants I am used to in England!
