Go here when you’re starting to get worn out from your travels. You can go through the museum and then sit in the gardens and relax a bit. It’s better than just staying in your hotel room for the day.
over 6 years agoIt has some amazing works by some amazing artists. The setting is beautiful and it is often less crowded than the Louvre. If you’re interested in Impressionism and Post Impressionism this might actually be a better museum to go to than the Louvre.
over 6 years agoIt’s worth visiting, but more so out of tourist season. During summer you’ll be pushed through the house by everyone behind you. However, you can find peace in the gardens and some of the little houses are beautiful.
