Aw YEAH
Beijing is so cool. it’s the epitome of western civilazation in an eastern continent. don’t get me wrong: it has it’s own flavor of China in it, but if you are a tourist and don’t want to, say, “rough it”, Beijing is definitely for you! It has tourist parts of the Great Wall within driving distance, China’s National Zoo, China’s National Museum, and if you’re not too into the chinese cuisine, a McDonalds every couple blocks! There’s also a jade and pearl… ‘warehouses’ you could call them. where you can get real pearls and jade real cheap. there’s a TON of shopping to be done anyway. Beijing also holds the Forbidden City and Tiananmen Square. the city parks are beautiful as well and are modern but still feel what americans would call ‘traditional chinese’. Beijing is a cool place and is a must if you go to China.
