Leonardo da Vinci - Mona Lisa, Musée Du Louvre

Untitled

Many people think it’s overrated, and many think the crowd that surrounds it is just too much. However, seeing the Mona Lisa was a very monumental moment for me. If you appreciate art and history, it will be a wonderful moment for you too. Just being able to see the actual painting that Leonardo da Vinci painted… Standing certain distances from it and admiring it just as he did while painting it… it’s a great feeling, and it’s a wonderful accomplishment for an artist as well.

Sainte-Chapelle, Ile De La Cité

Untitled

From looking at the first floor, I couldn’t really imagine why my history teacher made such a big deal about this place. Then we went upstairs, and WOW! The most beautiful stained glass windows I’ve ever seen. This is a place that photos cannot do justice to—it holds such vibrant and breath-taking colors…. Beautiful.

Basilique Du Sacré-Coeur, Montmartre

Untitled

My friends and I ran the steps to the top… and it was worth it! An amazing view of Paris, a beautiful and historical church… one of those places where you just want to sit for awhile and take it all in. And of course it’s just beautiful at dusk.
