I have a friend that lives there. Don’t know much about the area but would go to say “hi” to my friend. Eventually I might take a trip there.

For years, I never thought of going to Laughlin. I figured if I’m going to go up that direction from Phoenix, Arizona, I’m going the extra hour to Las Vegas.

Well, the company where I’m currently working has business dealings and contacts in Bullhead City, Arizona – the other side of the river from Laughlin.

So, now that I’ve seen it from a distance, it’s still not all THAT terrific. But I figure as long as I can go up there for work, I can go up there for some fun too.

I’ve been to Vegas a few times. Fortunately all visits were business related so I managed to write-off some of my expenses on taxes. I haven’t been there in about three years and DEFINITELY need to go again.

I enjoy gambling but take the smart route and do not expect to win. It’s just an enjoyable activity. I play blackjack and roulette. Occassionally I’ll play slots; usually when I’m sitting at a bar so I can drink for free.

Free booze and all the good food (besides the buffets) are two thinks that are awesome. Yes, you will hafta gamble if you want to drink for free. The pizza at New York, New York Hotel/Casino is The Best I’ve ever had. And I’ve lived in New York!

Even if you don’t gamble there are lots of things to do; even free things. The M&M Candy Factory, the lounge acts, Fremont Experience are some of the free activities.

I am planning to go there in 2006. I need a vacation where I can just go-go-go 24-hours a day.
