Of course I want to visit the greates metal festival on Earth. I already ordered my ticket for W:O:A 2009. :-)

While writing this entry I’m sitting at Nørrebro Bryghus and sipping one of their delicious beers. I have to say that Copenhagen is a nice city and I could come here again in the future and spend some more time. :-)

I’m going to Rock am Ring on Thursday; I’ve been waiting for so many months and it’s finally so close!

I’m going to spend the Midsummer’s Eve in Vulkaneifel with 17 friends of mine. There is a holiday camp and we already booked three cottages from them. It’s going to be fun! :-)

I’m studying in Germany and I’m going back to Finland in two months. My plan is to travel by a train from Cologne to Copenhagen, then by another train further on to Stockholm and from there I can take a boat to Finland. It will surely be an interesting trip. :-)

I went to see the Paganfest tour in Saarbrücken yesterday. The city was not that impressive, but the gig was awesome and I liked the concert hall (Garage is the name of it). :-)

Yesterday I went to see a band called Exodus in Essen. It was a good gig. :-)

I was in Ghent last Thursday and I went to a jazz tavern with my friend. The place was very small and as full as it could be, but the atmosphere was very nice and friendly. There was a three-member local band (All Of Us) and they played a nice set of well-known cover songs. Both me and my friend enjoyed the night immensely and judging by the applause, so did the rest of the audience as well.

For me it was a very memorable experience, because I haven’t felt so at ease and so relaxed in a pub ever before. Everyone seemed to be very friendly and the owner of the place was sitting there listening to the band and talking with people. She even offered a free round of drinks for everyone during the evening! I also talked for a while with the singer of the band and he told he had been jamming with some Finnish music students in Ghent.

Altogether it was an unforgettable evening. :-)

I just got back from Berlin and I liked it a lot, although the weather was bad (it was windy, cold and raining almost all the time). I really want to visit this city again when the weather is better and spend a little bit more time there, because the city really has a lot to offer (nice restaurants, cool clubs, many historical buildings and museums, shopping, etc.).

I spent the last weekend in Barcelona and it was great! The weather was warm enough for swimming in the sea and laying on the beach, but there were almost no tourists at all. The cliffs were especially beautiful and I enjoyed my stay so much that I’ll surely travel to Spain again in the future.
