Famous for the battle involving Henry V and his longbowmen! We found the museum, and after working our way through that, we headed to the actual site of the battle, a field a couple of miles down the road! All that marks it out are a big stone pillar and a few diagrams of it!

Garish yes, a mish-mash of styles… But I loved it!
… And as for over-priced EVERYTHING seems to be E7.50 entry in France!
My boyfriend and I went here with his re-enactment society (Conquest) and had a great time re-enactingthe battle of Hastings in 2006!!!
