Why I want to go to this place
It seems climbing Mt Fuji is one of those experiences where you havn’t lived until you’ve done it.

Worth visiting!
I remember going up there when I was about 13 and seeing a group of 10 Japanese school girls screaming at the top of their lungs while being chased by about 50 pidgeons.
That was (and still is) the funniest thing I’ve ever seen.

It looks like an absolutely beautiful place to visit.

Monmartre is a lovely place to visit, everyone was very friendly which honestly surprised me.
If you can, check out all the artists in the square. There are tons of them and they’re all selling something interesting. Some offer to draw/paint you then let you buy the picture, others have pre-drawn/painted pictures for sale.
I got a caricature drawn for about £5 (can’t remember how many francs it was) when I was there. And it’s now framed on the wall next to my computer.
As always with tourist areas, watch out for pick-pockets. It’s not a huge problem but always remember to be careful just incase.

Great place to go even if you don’t speak French. Most (if not all) of the staff speak English. Which was great since my French isn’t exactly great.
Actually I dont think I heard anyone speak French the whole time I was there.

France is a beautiful place. I’ve been twice and I really liked it. Unfortunately the people were no where near as nice as I had been told. The majority of them were rude and arrogant and thought they were better than me. I saw little evidence of the nice and friendly people I had been told about.
And people wonder why the French are the most disliked people in Europe…

Not worth visiting!
Not much to do here. No cinema, no game shops, not many good shops in general, no arcades.
Plenty of pubs and bars though. Good place to go if you’re an alcoholic or a chav.
