Gloomy_sunday

This is my effing favourite place in the world!!! My nana and grandad used to live here, until they died, sadly :’( I grew up with this lovely village as a second home, it has a beautiful park and village green, and that amazing wooden-clad house that looks like it comes from a fairytale. I know the couple who own it. I haven’t been back since selling my grandparents’ house and desperately want to. It was like having a limb removed!!!

Don’t go there. It’s bloody awful.

It’s a s*hole. I hate living so near it, it’s expanding at such a rate it’s going to swallow up my little village.

It’s actually called Ieper now…
I visited the war cememtaries with my English class for our war poetry module. It was possibly the most moving experience of my life, the cemetaries are so serene and removed from the rest of the world.

I know it’s an amazing cultural site and I’m proud to live in Wiltshire with it. But it’s a let down once you get there, you just file round the stones in a circle and back out again. Go to Avebury stones instead, its a much better experience.

Bath is my favourite place in world… kind of…

Haha, I’m joking, it has it’s own beauty, and I guess I’ve got to be thankful for what I have.
I like it, but I’m gonna get out if labour win the next election!!!
