Perhaps the best “gaufres” (French waffles) in the entire world are made here…on the beach…when you’re cold, you just get one fresh from the iron mould…and it tastes like heaven… it’s a very movie-like place…kind of melanchonic..and fascinating…
over 6 years agoI just came back from my very first (but hopefully not last) visit in Stockholm…and WOW!!! I experienced it during the summer, with never-ending daylight and a pleasant 18°C (I couldn’t believe I got a break from the oppressive heat of my hometown during the summer)and it was one of the best European city trips I ever embarked on…the city is sooooo young and it has a vibrating energy donned by the bars and H&M shops on every corner, and the little islands, and the quirky design shops… let’s face it: the Swedes know their interior design, their international food and how to please visitors!!
I will definitely go back in the winter time with my Moon Boots and experience the dry -10°C (which in the dryness feel like +5°C) while walking on top of the glaciated Stockholm waterways…
