Directly in front of the Basillica at Lourdes is a statue of the Virgin Mary. She has a crown on her head and she is in the center of a circular shaped area filled with flowers. It is said that if you stand in front of her and offer three Hail Mary prayers, you are sure to return to Lourdes!
over 6 years agoI want to go back to this city so I can eat the delicious
mussels. Then I want to have some more of that beer called “Chimay” made by those famous Belgian Trappist Monks!
It gave me quite a buzz from just two sips.
They know how to do it right!
over 6 years agoBrugge is a charming town. I bought loads of delicious Belgian chocolates here. One can also find beautiful lace here.
