If you need relaxation mixed with adventure, this is the place to go. If I could live here, I would. It’s that good. Make sure to visit some of the smaller islands while you’re here. It’s well worth the small amount you pay. Take lots of pictures because no one will believe how nice it is otherwise.
over 5 years agoYou don’t need to spend a lot of money to have a good time here. If you can pull yourself away from the resort you’ve planted yourself at… head into the city for the flea markets, culture and just meeting the people who live here. You’ll find great deals as well for food and beer and experience way more than just your pool bar, plus you can find some great locations to visit that your hotel doesn’t offer.

If you’re planning on spending more than a few days in the Czech Republic, at least try and learn a few words and phrases in Czech. It’s a courtesy thing. Almost everyone speaks English there, but if you make the effort to respect them, you’ll get so much more from your experience and time there. Also, soak in the scenery, night life and shopping!! Trust me, I spent 6 months there and it flew by. I’ll definitely be going back.
