quick weekend trip

The arch is much more impressive up close than… well, than from far away. I hit a Welsh bar in the Central West End, a cool club toward downtown, and a few local joints. Real estate is cheap. And the doctors from Barnes/Jewish know how to let loose.

If you are looking for pizza, though, avoid places that use only “provel”, a pasteurized process cheddar, swiss, and provolone cheese. Apparently, provel is an “acquired taste” that only locals have the time to acquire.
