We think of Africa as being poor- and there is no doubt that the cities are- but the countryside, wow, it is exquiste and the people are so connected with the land and with the planet, and they are so happy and loving and kind. In our standards, they have nothing and yet they have everything. You stand back and look at them and think " I want what they have" and yet they have no material possesions. They have been this way for thousands of years and will continue to be. If we MUST help,the western world should only help them preserve the land and culture that they have and not try to change them in ANY way.
