When I was visiting London some years ago, the London Eye was not finished so have not visited it (yet). But a friend told me that you can save some money if you book ticket to the attraction online.

If you book at londoneye.com you get 10% discount. It is also possible to buy a ticket allowing you to skip the long queues at the entrance.

Farrisfabrikken

Worth visiting!

History

Water from the Farris-spring (“Farriskilden”) was being used as a healthpotion from about 1850. From 1907 the water was botteled and Farris is now sold as mineral water. The building was erected in 1915 and and a second wing was added two years later. The factory produces yearly more than 50 million litres of botteled water (year 2000).

Eidsvollbygningen

Worth visiting!

Dance and tour at Eidsvollbygningen

In august 2005 I visited Eidsvollbygningen on a tour with participants on “Romeriksrock”, a weekend with Rock’n Roll & Linedance.

The guided tour gave good insight in the process of agreeing on Norways constitution in 1814. Very interesting to see alle the hidden rooms and other solutions in this house from 1770.

On the image we are dancing linedance in front of the building.
