A story about this place, or, how this might actually happen:

I received an invitation to visit London in September. My friend and a few other people are going, and he asked if I wanted to go with them. Of course, I said yes :) I’m just afraid to get my hopes up too much, but I’m excited nonetheless!

English accents. Need I say more?

The pictures I’ve seen of the beaches are beautiful.

I live here!

I went to Big Bear with my aunt, uncle, grandma, cousin, and a family friend of ours. We stayed for about a week, and it was a lot of fun. We rented a house there. It snowed, and my cousin and I had a snowball fight, and we drank egg nog one night, and made dinner another night.

I live here! Three years down, two to go.

I drive through it twice a week on my way to an elementary school to tutor my fourth graders. It’s alright I guess. Kind of scary the first couple times, but not so much anymore.

Signal Hill is not a very big city, but it’s just outside Long Beach, and I went to Hilltop Park recently. It’s waaaay up at the top of Skyline Drive, and the view is just gorgeous. If you look to the left, there’s an awesome view of the ocean and the Queen Mary. You can also see Catalina Island in the distance. If you look to the right, you can see the Los Angeles skyline. It’s a pretty small park, but is most definitely a must-see if you’re ever in the area.

I’m considering going to San Jose State for my masters degree, so I’d like to go explore for a weekend or so to get a feel of what it’s like.
