Even though I have been to Cardiff four times I have never gotten round to visit the Castle. Shame on me! I always get way to distracted by the excellent shopping that Cardiff offers, so I always postpone it. But I am adamant, that the next time I am there I will fulfill this aim! At least I have not been too lazy to taken some pictures…

After a 3 hours walk through the Wye Valley, from Chepstow to Tintern, I was finally rewarded with my first view of this world famous Abbey. I admit, when I first saw it I was not overly impressed. From the outside it looks somehow smaller than from the inside. Once I entered the mainbody of what was the church, it was absolutely breathtaking. I absolutely understand, why these ruins inspired some of the greates artists….

...in Norway that I have ever been to and surely one of the most beautiful places I have ever been to. The midnight sun was just breathtaking, just as the white beaches and turquoise sea, the mountains that reflected the colors of the sun! Stunning!

Lived there for a year and studied at the university of east anglia! Loved the city!
