One of the most beautiful places on earth!

Worth visiting for the culture, but I’ve noticed that the people there were rude to americans. I’ve seen it, and don’t want to go back.

While I’ve traveled all over Italy, Florence was my absolutle favorite. To me, it is what I’ve always imagined Italy to be.

I love the country and found the people to be warm and friendly. I wasn’t too fond of the food, but hey, that’s part of the experience, isn’t it? I enjoyed my trip to Brashov, Neptun and of course Bucharesti. It’s been quite a long time since I was there, but for me, it really represents rural Europe. To get an idea about northern Romania rent “Cold Mountain”. The movie was filmed in Cluj, I beleive.

Had my wallet stolen in Istanbul and contracted food poisoning at the Grand Bazzar! When I was there, water in our hotel was turned off from 10 pm to 7 am. The historical aspects were very interesting for a day trip, but being there for any longer wasn’t worth it.

I’ve met many people from South Africa when I was in Israel. Every one of them was warm and fun to be with. I’ve never enjoyed myself with a group as I did with them. I’m so sorry that I never kept in touch with them.

I’ve been all over “Following the Equator”, but this is the only place I’ve found to truly call home!
