Worth visiting!
I was stationed in Berlin in 70-71. At that time it was a party town. Germany has a draft but anyone living in Berlin was not subject to it at the time (the wall was still up) Hence every freak in Germany lived there. I was in awe of the war damage that was still quite apparent. We didn’t have aircraft at the base but every antenna twirled!
Worth visiting!
People go there to party, we go to see the ruins and ancient history. We also visit the National Park and just take in the beauty of the Yucatan. Being able to climb the pyramids is just awesome, the view is spectacular! The food is great as is the fishing, shopping and the locals. We stay away from the chains but do stay at the Camino as it has the best beach there. Buy a guide and taxi for a few days, it’s worth it! Don’t miss the Isle Mujhares either!
