Oaxaca (State), Mexico

katertot07 asks,

“There are a lot of small towns and villages to visit near Oaxaca City. Any that are absolutely not to be missed?”

Fortes el70 answers,

For me, you should go towards puerto escondido…. but find some small beaches before you get to the big turistic place…(if you dont want to be surrounded with hotels and turists…)

one beach i really liked was “Piedra blanca” or “Roca Blanca”, a incredible place with a little lake….on front of the see….. great…

Mexico, North America

bosko asks,

“Mexico in August... probably landing in Mexico City. Not sure exactly where we want to go, and have 2 weeks. Anyone got any suggestions for places to go that are not too touristy, quieter? Looking for a good mix of comfort and exploration.”

Fortes el70 answers,

Mexico is not that dangerous as they paint it in the news, i have lived 25 years there and had no problems!

you just have to be careful in some places, like in every other country in the world.
