Lived in Maine all my life but this summer was the first visit I had ever made to Bar Harbor. We spent a day in the village shopping, and a day in the woods of Acadia. Absolutely gorgeous, I recommend both to anyone who has the opportunity.
over 6 years agoMy entire family is in Saco, and I lived within 10 minutes of Old Orchard Beach, Funtown AND Aquaboggin until I was eight. What more could a kid ask for?
over 6 years agoJust moved here from across Messalonskee Stream, only ten minutes from where I grew up but we needed a house. Quiet town, with the Kennebec River running right alongside, I live in a cute little neighborhood where we’ll be expecting 400+ trick-or-treaters this Halloween. There isn’t a whole lot by way or attractions in sleepy little Fairfield, but we are 1/2 hour north of Augusta and east of the Belgrade Lakes region (if you ever have the opportunity to visit you MUST go there!)
