I was an exchange student in Hungary in ’06 and I had the time of my life!! I recommend it to anyone travelling to Europe. I felt like one of the locals, and everyone there made me feel at home!!
A quick tip though: If you are planning on staying there for a while, try to learn the language, or at least the basics. it makes getting around much easier! Dont be another stupid tourist!
